Compassion
I often wonder where my deep compassion comes from. Was I born this way? Was it my childhood that shaped it? A combination of both? Or was it the near-death experience that opened something in me?
The answer, of course, is that all of these factors play their part.
Being someone who feels so deeply is not for the faint of heart. I receive information from the ether — sometimes as sensations in my body, sometimes as a quiet knowing that I can't explain but can't ignore. It can be exhausting, and it's part of why I often keep my distance from groups of people. The constant awareness of emotional energy could take its toll if I hadn’t learned to separate from it.
I've also come to realize how powerful thoughts truly are. When I witness things manifesting quickly, it reinforces just how connected our inner world is to the reality around us — and it deepens everything I feel.
My compassion tends to be strongest for the weak, the lonely, and the hurting. And this, I believe, is why I'm able to make people feel at home, feel relaxed, feel loved, and ease gently into their own healing. Somehow I serve as a channel — receiving what's needed and offering it out from my hands at just the right moment, helping people come back into touch with their truest selves.
