Couples Massage in Pacifica: A Special Experience for Couples, Friends & Family

When you hear “couples massage,” you might picture two people in love enjoying a romantic spa day together.

And yes, couples absolutely love these sessions.

But here's something I want you to know:

You don't have to be a romantic couple to enjoy a couples massage.

Some of my favorite sessions are best friends, family members, mothers and daughters, sisters, and people who simply want to share a special experience together.

At Raina Beach Massage Therapy, I have a dedicated couples massage studio located just above my private practice studio, which I lovingly call The Healing Portal.

It's a beautiful, colorful, welcoming space with two cozy massage tables and plenty of room for two people to relax together.

So... How Do You Massage Two People at Once?

This is actually one of the funniest questions I get.

People sometimes ask me how I possibly massage two people at the same time.

And I always imagine what that would look like!

But no—you won't find me trying to grow an extra set of arms.

A couples massage means there are two massage therapists and two massage tables, with each person receiving their own individual massage at the same time.

I coordinate with another independent, certified massage therapist so that both people can enjoy their treatments together in the same room.

You get to relax side by side without having to spend time waiting for the other person to finish.

A Massage You Can Experience Together

One of the things people love most about couples massage is that you get to share the experience.

You arrive together.

You relax together.

You receive your massages at the same time.

And when you're finished, you get to leave together and continue enjoying your day.

And being in Rockaway Beach, Pacifica, there are plenty of ways to continue your adventure.

Maybe you'll walk down to the beach.

Maybe you'll grab lunch.

Maybe you'll take a hike along the coast.

Or maybe you'll simply head home feeling relaxed, loose, and happy that you made time to do something wonderful together.

The massage becomes part of the experience rather than the entire experience.

Couples Massage Isn't Just for Couples

I really love this part.

I've had best friends come in together for a much-needed day of self-care.

Family members who wanted to experience something special together.

People celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, milestones, or simply the fact that they don't get enough time together.

Sometimes you don't need a special occasion at all.

Sometimes it's enough to say:

“Let's go get massages together.”

There's something lovely about sharing a quiet room with someone you care about while both of you get to completely relax.

Two Tables, Two Therapists, One Shared Experience

The couples massage studio is larger than my private massage studio below. It's a separate space that I share with a few independent massage therapists, and it has been created specifically to accommodate these special sessions.

The room is colorful and beautiful, with living plants bringing a little bit of nature into the space.

There is also a bathroom available in the patio area, so you don't have to worry about that either.

It's a comfortable, casual, welcoming environment—nothing overly formal or stuffy.

Just a beautiful place to relax.

A Little Advance Planning Helps

Because I coordinate with another massage therapist to provide couples massage, these appointments require a little more planning than booking an individual massage.

Ideally, I like at least a week's notice so I have time to coordinate schedules and find a time that works for everyone.

If you're looking for something sooner, don't hesitate to ask. I may still be able to make it happen depending on the schedules of the other therapists.

The easiest way to request a couples massage is to text me directly at 650-834-6228 with the day and time you're hoping for.

I'll do my best to coordinate everything for you.

Come Share the Experience

Whether you're celebrating with your partner, catching up with your best friend, spending time with a family member, or simply looking for something wonderful to do together, a couples massage can be a beautiful way to slow down and reconnect.

Two people.

Two massage therapists.

Two cozy tables.

One shared experience.

Come relax together at Raina Beach Massage Therapy in Rockaway Beach, Pacifica—and make a day of it.
